Help Sponsor Club Cool

Our aim is to offer a unique entertainment opportunity for People with Disabilities that often would otherwise be difficult to experience. Club Cool is a community-based event, that offers this opportunity for people with disability to enjoy a live music event with their friends, once a month and is a completely volunteer run event. It started slowly in 2013 but by 2015 was attracting audiences over 250 people which is now steady at 300 plus a month, running on the third Sunday in the month from February to November.

In its present format, live bands are sponsored by SA Live Music Club, and The GOV (Governor Hindmarsh Hotel) who gives Club Cool the free use of The Venue, at no charge, with sound and lighting staff, plus a great “Club Cool” lunch menu, and an open bar, or if you prefer a coffee.

The Club Cool Crew, are involved in Door Admission, Door Prizes, Event information, and assisting patrons, as well as the media side with Facebook, Mail Outs, and its Web site. The Team makes hard work to keep it as “free” as possible, however, we do ask for a gold coin donation. This helps subsidise Door Prizes for attendees. Any surplus is then used for a bumper end of year blast in November when we host our Christmas Party, offering all the audience a small gift at the end of the Show.

In recent times, the increasing costs of items has impacted our financial situation, as we strain to cover the costs, mainly, for the end of year gifts. As November is our last event for the year, when we celebrate the upcoming Christmas festivities, all patrons receive a Show Bag, with 320+ being given out last year.

We are seeking sponsorships, both small and large, to maintain the generosity Club Cool offers. Ideally, we would like to raise a minimum of $2,000 this year, ahead of November’s Club Cool Christmas Party, and looking to allow us to provide well filled gifts bags. If your agency can support us, we will of course acknowledge your sponsorship both on the day, but also throughout each Club Cool event.

Sincere regards,
Andrew Kyprianou,
Club Cool Team Leader
